I personally thought it was really good dispite the lack of sirius. I also wanted to see Winky and Dobby but that didn't happen. I loved the second task the best but the first was dramatic and voldemort was exactly how i thought he would be.
Any other comments?

i totally agree that QWC was really dissapointing. if you hadnt read the book you wouldn't have even known that ireland won until later on in the next scene, pretty poor. there were also silly things they changed like harry and co not sitting in the good stand at the QWC and neville giving harry the gilly weed and why did dumbledore shack harry when his name was read out of the goblet.

What i didn't like was Crouch going "The Chinese Firebolt - OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH" u know? was that meant to be funny? Well, the whole cinima cracked up laughing anyway..... And was it me, or did you think that Mike Newell, in bits of it, he hadn't really got the characters? Like in that bit whe F&G drink the aging potion, and hermione's like "It's going to wo-ork!" Hermione would NEVER, EVER, EVER do that!! Oh yeh, and what happened to Barty Crouch Jr not having a wand, they completely missed the fact the he stole Harry's wand!! But, I saw it again and thought it was worse that time, which says I didn't like it much. I think the third was MUCH better. And why, in the book where there is the most evidence (excluding book 6) of Hermione/Ron getting together, did they lean SO heavily on H/Hr, ESPECIALLY SINCE BOOK 6 CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! soz, i just didn't like that movie much.....

Ok here's my oppinion:
- I liked some of the added scenes like Harry dripping milk down his chin - I think the Yule ball was great - I didn't like Dumbledore, he isn't that jumpy and mean... NEVER. He is calm serene. - My friend suggested that Voldermort's voice could have been a little stronger at the beginning - Snape as usual was great, so was Mcgonnagal - No SIRIUS and hardly any Malfoy aka. Tom! - I was hoping for the sphinx in the last task. Also Harry and Cedric getting really competetive in the ending isn't true! - I think as someone said it was kinda rushed and maybe they should have split it into two...
Although I seem to be negative I liked the movie! It's not that easy to shorten a movie and I think he was better than the last director! Hopefull they'll split OotP into two as it is the longest!

So now most of us will have the DVD - does it seem any better? For me : NO! I was almost in tears by the end of it - not because Cedric died - purely because the film was sooooooo bad! * As much as I loved Roger Lloyd-Pack in "Only Fools and Horses" , I must admit, I thought he was a good choice for Barty Crouch, I changed my mind and now think they may have cast him wrongly - however another reason for this, could have been the massive holes in the plot and not getting his major part right. *Ludo Bagmn - where was he? *What was the point of the scene where you see Karkaroff shutting himself in the room where the Goblet is? *Hermione's character was all wrong I think - she came across so much more bossier than before. She was unlike her character in the book. *Hate Sirius' head in the fire bit and as i said before - the film (and Harry's character to some extent) misses him. *Dobby and Winky as I said before Over all the whole film seems rushed - In the graveyard, we got about 1 1/2 chapters worth of information in about 5 minutes. In Moody's office, we got a whole chapter of explanation about Barty Crouch Jnr in the space of about 90 seconds. and since when did Dumbledore go into the Boys dormitory? or am I just picky?

Aww, it wasn't too bad considering all the materials they had to work with.
~Ludo Bagman was a small character. You really didn't need him. Don't need to waste film, time, and money on a character that wasn't going to be dimensional. ~The reason for Karkoroff to enter the room with the goblet was to set him up as the bad guy. Everyone thought it was him, so they need to add that one bit to throw people off. Well, the people who haven't read the book. ~Hermione...where do I start with this. Emma Watson's acting was a bit hard for me to watch. I couldn't help but ask, "Are you for real?" You would have thought five years of experience would have made her better, not worse. ~Sirius's head through the fire was not how I pictured it, but oh well. It's done and over with. Maybe the fifth one would do a better job. ~Dobby and Winky didn't really need to be in it. Cost too much money. Besides, the characters (Barty Crouch Jr. and Neville) Filled in their one tiny spot in the film. So, I thought it was okay.
The film did feel it was a bit rushed, but it was a pretty long movie. If they made it any longer, people would complain about how long it was.
I thought it was a well done movie.

Another thing I've thought about - the majority of the next film isbased around Haryys disagreements with the ministry - surely as so little was explained at the end of this film, viewers who have not read the book will surely struggle to understand the importance of that.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure all we got at the end of this film was "Lord Voldemort's Back" "Oh No - he can't be!"
That's not enough to explain the disagreement in book/film 5
